Initially we looked at how we can access MS SQL data and pull that into Tableau. We also talked about using our own colours on charts and using our own custom colour palettes.

Then we looked at the “art of the possible” with Tableau by looking at Tableau Public and understanding how we can find both inspiration and additional learning resources on an ongoing basis. We also looked at the Tableau Exchange which has dashboards extensions, data connectors and dashboard accelerators available to use.
