Why Members Took the Plunge...
1) The framing around Tableau moving in a new direction (AI / agentic analytics) and not feeling at all on top of it definitely resonated with me. I have barely engaged with AI and I am keen to understand how people are benefitting from using it and whether I see a future for myself in the AI-driven professional world many are predicting. As a Tableau consultant, I often feel like I should know all the answers, so I am looking forward to being part of a community where we are seeking those answers together. I have to navigate what AI means strategically for my team. TIC is how I get back to learning so I can bring these topics back to my company.
I've been using Tableau for 10 years but for he past 6 months haven’t been active and I'm missing it. The pricing made it a no-brainer.

Unfortunately, I caught COVID right in the middle of it, and recovery took a lot longer than expected. That experience made me realize I still want (and need) to go deeper, I just needed the right environment and timing to do it.
So I’d say it was a mix of timing, need, and a bit of a gut feeling that this was the right move to level up.
