Alexander Mou shares their experiences with the new Sankey chart type in Tableau Public. While Alexander appreciates the ease of creating a basic Sankey with two dimensions and one measure, as well as the introduction of Level and Link cards, he hopes for more flexibility in label editing and colour assignment.
Alexander also suggests improvements, such as an option to minimise or hide sidebars for multi-level Sankey charts and believes with some tweaks, this tool could be used for wider applications, including Funnel charts.
